PhD and postdoc positions in the Northern Arizona University

*We are now recruiting two Ph.D. students and a postdoc! You will work on projects related to software engineering education, open source software, programming education, and Large Language Models/generative AI.*
The positions are already available and ready to accommodate students. You will work with other researchers led by Dr. Igor Steinmacher and Dr. Marco Gerosa at Northern Arizona University (NAU) in beautiful Flagstaff.
The PhD positions are funded for 4 years: tuition and salary for the period of the Ph.D. The postdoc position is funded for one to two years.
*Requirements*
It is desirable that you:

show knowledge of some of the topics of the studies (see the list above);

have a background in conducting research with humans;

are a self-learner, reliable, and committed;
-
hold a master's or conducted undergrad research in related topics;

can work well both on your own and with others in a diverse group;

speak and write in English.
